Autum Jewel

The Autumn Jewel... the Aperol spritz of the cooler months. 

This cocktail is a flavorful play on a classic Champagne cocktail; still featuring sparkling wine and Angostura bitters, and swapping out the sugar cube for fresh maple syrup. The fresh rosemary and dried orange hit your olfactory senses with a double whammy of fall. This drink is light and easy to drink, yet the bitters offers an unmatched level of complexity. The maple syrup sweetens the drink just barely, moreso offering a silky mouthfeel and lingering flavor.


.5 oz Maple syrup
3 dashes Angostura bitters
4 oz Val d'Oca Prosecco
add ice to wine glass
garnish: dried orange wheel and fresh rosemary
